5000m Track Challenge:
Steven Whatmore continued his preparations for Berlin by going in at the deep end – jumping into the very strong fields at the Nottingham 5000m Track Challenge. It’s great to see more runners taking on the fun of the Track and Steven was rewarded with a superb new 5000m PB of 17:23.

Brueton parkrun:
Happy 9th Birthday to Brueton parkrun. My haven’t you grown you little rascal! The lure of birthday cake saw a mass K&D turnout. The day before his own birthday saw Gareth Wainwright run 17:03. Jack Bristow clocked an excellent 17:22 and Gary Polhill rolled in at 17:43. K&D men put 5 in the top-10, and 12 in the top-20 if you include a couple of forgotten barcodes.

Flick Sharp ran her fastest time this year in a storming 19:41. Mary Heald in 21:58 and Kerry Ann Thompson in 22:34 backed Flick up with style.

Coventry parkrun:
Simon Battson clocked 24:56 as he sauntered across to Cov.

Torbay Velo parkrun:
David John ran 30:31 down on the south coast.

Our mammoth Woolley’s ran 18:22 and 22:14 as Nick and Jess enjoyed lovely Bath.

Poole parkrun:
You go all the way to Poole and bump into another K&D. Michael Williamson clocked 19:19 while Steve Marks ran 34:41. Honestly we’re everywhere.

Crissy Fields parkrun.
San Fran-bloomin-cisco. John Garside ticked off the original American parkrun in 22:03 with it’s beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge. And John sweating everywhere.

Stratford-Upon-Avon parkrun:
Just the 10th fastest time in the UK for Jane Evans on Saturday. 17:53. She’s not bad.

Dishley parkrun, Loughborough
The dishy Kev turned up in Dishley parkrun with Alison Giblin in tow. Alison is lovely too but can you call a woman dishy? Kev ran 23:44 and Alison finished in 30:21.

Delaware and Raritan Canal parkrun:
Another U. S. of A parkrun as Stephen Ray landed his private jet in Delaware for a little parkrun. He finished 7th overall. Delaware was the first state to ratify the United States constitution. It did so on December 7, 1787.

Churchfields parkrun:
Steve Armstrong ran 25:36 at Churchfields parkrun on Sat for 12th place

Hafan Pwllheli parkrun:
Janice Lisiecki clocked 26:43. Which ironically is about the same length of time it takes to spell check Hafan Pwllheli and Lisiecki.
