Our Wednesday club runs will always be led by members who have completed Leadership in Running Courses who will provide you with advice and guidance on your running and make sure you have someone to run with.
Whilst our leaders are qualified please keep in mind they are volunteers and not professional coaches and that we all have responsibility to look after each other out on the roads, especially during the dark winter nights. With this in mind we ask that all members follow our running safely protocols.
For safety we advise potential new members should ideally be able to run for 30-40 minutes continuously before joining a Wednesday session. If you are unsure please email the club.
We run a 0-5k course each January for those not quite at this level yet. If you’re unsure email us and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Joining these sessions is not obligatory. Members who prefer to do their own run can do so.
Details of the forthcoming few weeks training can usually be found on the home page. Individual groups may alter the sessions prescribed as best fits the group.
