Our Wednesday club runs will always be led by members who have completed Leadership in Running Courses who will provide you with advice and guidance on your running and make sure you have someone to run with.
Whilst our leaders are qualified please keep in mind they are volunteers and not professional coaches and that we all have responsibility to look after each other out on the roads, especially during the dark winter nights. With this in mind we ask that all members follow our running safely protocols.
Joining these sessions is not obligatory. Members who prefer to do their own run can do so.
Our Wednesday led sessions for the Autumn will focus on training for distances of 10k – half marathon and are great preparation for the Road and XC season.
The below schedule details the sessions planned for Wednesday club nights and provides some ideas for other sessions/runs you may want to try out during the week. Don’t worry if you’re not sure what some of this means, like tempo running fartlek – our run leaders will be posting information about these sessions in the coming weeks.
