Vitality 10000 Results – K&D Race London, Mo and the Humidity

On Bank Holiday Monday K&D took a big old squad down to the Big Smoke to run the Vitality London 10000. In the shadow of Buckingham Palace the royal colours of Green and Gold lined up against Mo Farah, Jo Pavey, Lily Partridge and Callum Hawkins. The British 10000m Road Championships provided superb opportunities for racing through the streets. K&D took up their 12 free places (6 for Men, 6 for Women) and supplemented their teams with many who paid their own way for a slice of the fun.

Leading the way was Chris Sharp who beat Jo Pavey with a last km kick. Chris lowered his PB to a sensational 32:58.

Our ladies were led by Emma Lowe who consolidated her recent superb form with an excellent PB of 41:20.

Special mention to both Richard Dixon and Paul Williams who were 9th and 23rd in their age groups. A hell of an achievement.
