    I’ve decided to run a few miles with Emma tomorrow- see Kathy’s mail below;
    Hi All
Emma Lowe is training for the Edinburgh marathon. She’s done a great job of building her miles but has a 19 mile long run to do this week end and is struggling to keep her pace down to manage all the miles.
We had a great response asking for help for Imogen with her longest run and wondered if we can repeat this for Emma.
Emma is happy to do the same route that Imogen used, starting at Knowle and Dorridge Cricket club at 9am on Sunday.
    Here’s the route:

    Meeting points would be:
    1. Brueton Park main car park approx 9.45 am.
    2. Wedge’s Bakery (School Road/Dyers Lane) 10.40 am.
    3. The Punch Bowl, Mill Lane/Rising Lane 11.30 am.
    4. Return home 12.20 pm.

Please allow 5 minutes or so either way.
If you can do any of these please let me know (07734051523), or email Emma directly: emmalowe94@hotmail.co.uk

Emma will be thrilled to have some company for her run to help build confidence to manage the full 26.2 miles of Edinburgh marathon in 3 weeks time.

    Hope you can help

    Kathy

    Thanks everyone for your support!
So far we have the following runners:
Geoff and Flick from cricket Club
    Rob from Brueton Park
Kathy and Jude from wedges to the end.
Anyone else is welcome at any point along the route. We can sort out sharing lifts if needed to not leave anyone or cars stranded.

    Kathy x

It’s been about a year but I don’t recall any nettles or bramble hazards.
But there may be some nice fields with possibly tall grass/crops and so I’m going for long socks to avoid possible insect bites.
Shorts okay though, shorter the better!!
