Sorry for any disappointment but I picked up a niggle after the Stratford Summer 6 which won’t go away and so I’ve decided to rest from running and go for a bike ride instead tomorrow.
All being well we can meet up next Sunday 8th at Baddesley Clinton car park (NT membership not required). G

    Sunday 8th.
Meet 9.00 in the car park at the far end of the private drive, https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/baddesley-clinton#How%20to%20get%20here

    Membership not necessary to park.
This will be a very pretty 7.5 miler mainly off road with some special field paths over to the fishery at Shrewley village, through the quaint pedestrian tunnel onto the elevated section of the Grand Union canal back to Rowington village, some road and then the Heart of England Way back to Baddesley again.
    All welcome Geoff 07707 992000.

Sunday 15th. Meet 9.00 at Wedges Bakery for this run – https://www.plotaroute.com/route/926727
Just under 8 miles, a mix of canal, road, Earlswood lakeside, Clowes Wood, open clear fields, clamber over the railway line, around another section of the lakes again, road and canal back to the bakery. Lots of variety and different views.
Wedges is at the far end of School Road, Hockley Heath or approach from Four Ashes/Kineton Lane a few minutes drive from the roundabout on the Stratford Road at Four Ashes.
The shop opens at 9.00 so best to park in School Road on the rough ground on either side of the road. Plenty of room for several cars or use the car park at the back of the shop off Dyers Lane.
    Here’s Wedges – https://www.wedgesbakery.co.uk/wedges-at-hockley-heath/
    All welcome. Geoff 07707 992000

Tomorrow the 22nd. I’ve picked up another knee niggle and have decided to rest especially as it’s the Balsall Common races and our numbers will be down anyway – apologies for any disappointment.
I’m thinking of running the Centurion grand prix series of 6 x 5 miles park races starting on the first Sunday of each month from Nov 3rd. This helps to break up the winter season and they are good for a regular challenge leading to improvement and feeling more comfortable running at speed – plus stretching us more than your Saturday Parkrun.
Many from our club have attended in recent years. Waiting for up to date details but here’s a link to last year’s – http://centurionrc.org.uk/grand-prix
