The following Sunday will be the first 5 mile park run of the Centurion grand prix 6 race series on the first Sunday of every month – which several of us will be doing during the winter months. Entry form at – http://centurionrc.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Entry-Form-v2.pdf

This is a worthwhile event to help and gauge personal performance over the winter. Best to pay club rate fee of £25 for the whole series. Just turn up with your completed form and cash/cheque by 10.30 on the day. Parking inside the school. Don’t fall into my trap of getting carried away at the start. Use the first half lap to warm up and settle in before tackling 2 full laps. It can be taxing when the wind is blowing along the River Cole.
