Hi. Into a new month and trying to do something different every Sunday.
Tomorrow the 7th we are starting from the Boot Inn in Lapworth at 9.00. https://www.bootinnlapworth.co.uk/contact-us

An unusual (ie pretty tough) 7.5 mile route mainly by quiet roads over to somewhere intriguingly called Mows Hill and then back via Nuthurst Grange onto the canal for the last mile with a welcome descent back to Lapworth.

Advance notice of next Sunday the 14th, courtesy of Siobhan we are meeting at her house in Hampton-in-Arden joining up with her new Shrinking Violets group for a circular very quiet run of 6/7ish miles around the village, with refreshments after. Details to follow next week.

Sunday 14th. A 6 mile mainly x country scenic joint run around the footpaths and sights of the lovely villages of Barston and Hampton-in Arden with Siobhan’s Improvers’ group – and optional refreshment after at Siobhan’s house; with very many thanks to her for organising this.

Meet for a 9.00 am start in the large car park of The Beeches Bar & Grill, Marsh Lane, Hampton- in-Arden.That’s found coming from Knowle/Solihull direction up the hill into Hampton with the church on your left. Slow down and on the apex of the very sharp left-hand bend by the shop, turn right into Marsh Lane. After proceeding downhill for only about 100 metres you see Fentham Road on the left – and the entrance to the car park is almost opposite on your right-hand side. Plenty of parking all around there and to the right of the Beeches at the nearby surgery and Fentham Hall.

Sunday 21st. It’s pouring with rain as I type this but the weather is looking favourable tomorrow morning. Meet 9.00 at the Beeches car park again (directions above) for another run from Hampton taking in parts of last week in reverse and then over towards Berkswell – about 7/8 miles.

    Final Sunday of the month.
    Meet 9.00 @ https://www.achurchnearyou.com/church/7295/
    St. Mary’s Lapworth.
We have to park partially on the footpath here as they don’t like us using the car park on Sundays.
This will be a hilly but scenic circular 7/8 miler to Mows Hill, the ridge at Henley and back.
Social pace, time for working hard on sections, but also admiring our surroundings and chatting.
